The Three Body Problem

First, as a series, The Three-Body Problem does a great job of immersing the viewer into this world. Series often struggle to do that, as with each episode they feel the need to have a start, peak, and conclusion within less than an hour. Movies get up to 2 hours, sometimes more, to draw this story. I think this is why most sci-fi narratives do better in movies than in series.

But this 2024 series blew me out of the park. It did storytelling and world-building better than most movies, built suspense, built up the characters, and explained a science concept beautifully without dumbing it down.

I truly hope the series continues on this path. Let’s see what I’ll have to say come Season 2. But for now, 10/10 absolutely!
